What is Last Seen Alive?
Last Seen Alive is a daily check-in app. Each day, you confirm you're okay by tapping a button. The app tracks your streak of consecutive confirmations and lets you share stylized status cards with friends and family.
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you've confirmed. If you miss a day, your streak resets. Check in daily to keep your streak going. The app shows your current streak, longest streak, and total confirmations.
Is my data private?
Yes, completely. All data is stored locally on your device and never leaves your phone. Last Seen Alive does not require an account, does not collect any personal information, and does not use analytics or tracking of any kind. There are no servers — your data exists only on your device.
How do I share my status card?
After confirming your daily check-in, you can choose from multiple share card styles across different collections. Tap the share button to send your card via Messages, social media, or any app using the native iOS share sheet.
What happens if I delete the app?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app removes all your streak history and confirmation data permanently. There is no cloud backup or account to restore from. Reinstalling starts fresh.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Last Seen Alive, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." This will sync your purchase status with the App Store. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.
